Lumia cyan hasn't yet reached everyone and we have already got official confirmation about Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. The update 1 is said to roll out for those who have enrolled for the Preview for Developers, starting from next week.
Update 1 includes a cluster of new features
Live folders
Allows you to now make folders for apps by dragging a tile onto another tile. And the point of live folders is that, the tiles in the folder still act as live tiles.
Xbox Music
The Xbox Music app will be improved with Live Tile support and recent music option
SMS Merging and forwarding
Select multiple SMS and delete them pr forward them
Store Live tile
Apps Corner
show selective apps only.
Improved IE, VPN through public Wi-Fi, High Voltage Charging, Smart Cover support, Newer display resolution support.
