Microsoft to reduce prices on Lumia phones in India

With Xiaomi taking the market by releasing ultra cheap devices, Google going with Android One, Local sellers selling buggy Androids at bread's prices, Microsoft has to do something to keep their heads above water in India. Microsoft released the Lumia 530, which is now priced at INR 6,500 in India is the cheapest Lumia that you can buy. And Microsoft plans to get more Lumias to that price point. It even aims to releasing some S30 devices at the price point of INR 2500 with services available with the high end Windows Phones in India. Microsoft has truly abandoned the Asha range of devices and looks to concentrate more on the budget S30 and Windows Phone devices.
